《觀經疏》〈散善義〉:
Amitabha comes with a multitude of bhiksus (Sravakas), but no Bodhisattvas. This is because the aspirants are of Sravaka roots, which respond to the respective Sravakas.
彌陀與比丘眾來,無有菩薩。由是小乘根性, 還感小根之眾。
Namo Amituofo!
